Bags used for Sous Vide cooking

Because of the tempatures involved with sous vide cooking, the bags need to have a higher melting point than regular vacuum bags. If you tried to use regular vacuum bags that were designed strictly for food storage, they will melt at sous vide tempatures.

These bags are designed for Chamber machines and snorkel sealers.
They will not work with the discount-store or external clamp type of vacuum sealers.
